What is a Credit Report?
A credit report is a report that contains detailed information related to the transactions of individuals who have obtained credit facilities by credit providers in various sectors. The information is obtained and updated through credit providers in a periodical and automated manner, which reflects the credit status of individuals as of the date of the update.
The function of CRIF Jordan is limited to providing credit reports to credit providers subscribing to the service and has no role in making decisions. Rather, the credit decision belongs to banks and financial institutions in accordance with the policies and regulations internally applicable to each facility.
